Insurance or Other Reimbursements
I don’t have any direct relationship with any managed care insurance company as I am a life skills focused consulting practice and not a state licensed mental health practitioner. Adequate receipts and/or statements will be provided to you, but you are responsible for determining if services are reimbursable to you and for filing the necessary forms for reimbursement. Insurance coverage for utilizing the services of someone who provides consultations, education and life skills is different from the coverage you are familiar with for general medical problems. Insurance carriers do not often reimburse for non‑state licensed services, skill based, educational, relationship issues, and group programs. You will need to check whether your policy covers any of the above, or if my services are reimbursable through an expense spend down account. Fees for service are comparable with other educational or consultative practices and other providers.
Referrals
I can provide referrals for/to therapists, psychiatrists, counselors, and/or treatment centers. Working with both a therapist while building life skills can provide useful guidance and insight. Whether it is the client or their loved one who is struggling with a mental health or relational issue I provide a partnership to assist them in working through their difficulties.
